Phase 5: The Lifespark Process™

Tim Chapman, founder of Teensavers, created The Lifespark Process as a way to help teens rediscover the dreams they had before they began struggling with emotional, behavioral or substance abuse issues.

Although we label it as the fifth phase of our program, The Lifespark Process is truly an ongoing phase that begins on day one of treatment and extends throughout continuing care. Upon admission into our program, teens undergo a clinical and diagnostic evaluation during which a skilled counselor helps them determine a potential career path and life goals. These goals are then reinforced and encouraged throughout the time the teens are in our program to help reignite the teens’ enthusiasm for life.
