Admissions
At Teensavers, we offer two comprehensive programs to assist our clients in achieving lasting sobriety and emotional and behavioral stability, our In-Residence Program and Day Treatment Program.
In-Residence Program
This program is designed for teens needing treatment for substance abuse, emotional and behavioral issues and houses adolescents in one of our Teensavers residences for a period of 30 to 90 days under 24-hour, 7-day per week supervision. Teens who qualify for this program are those needing ongoing supervision and need to be temporarily removed from their home or peer group in order to successfully address their dysfunctional or out-of-control behavior.
Admission Requirements:
- Your child must be between the ages of 12 and 18 and exhibit signs of a substance abuse, emotional, psychological or behavioral issue.
- If your child is NOT substance free, Teensavers will help him or her through a detoxification process performed under the supervision of a licensed physician. This phase is designed to rid the body of drugs and alcohol before addressing emotional or behavioral problems.
- Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete a comprehensive assessment and admissions package.
- Parent(s)/guardian(s) must be willing to follow the directions provided by the Teensavers staff and the personalized treatment plan developed specifically for your teen.
Day Treatment Program
With a similar structure to our residential program, this program is designed for teens needing treatment for substance abuse, emotional and behavioral issues. In Teensavers’ Day Treatment Program, we treat adolescents in our outpatient facility between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Teens that enter this aspect of treatment do not require 24-hour, 7-day per week supervision. They can be effectively supervised by their parents at home in the evening and on weekends.
Admission Requirements:
- Your child must be between the ages of 10 and 18 and exhibit signs of a substance abuse, emotional, psychological or behavioral issue.
- If your child is not currently substance free, Teensavers will help him or her through a detoxification process performed under the supervision of a licensed physician.
Each new child undergoes a comprehensive assessment by our licensed staff, a clinical therapist and/or an M.D./psychiatrist. These assessments assist Teensavers in designing a unique treatment plan that reflects your child’s needs, as determined during this process.
A treatment plan identifies specific challenges your child and his or her therapist believe should be addressed during treatment at Teensavers. Progress is measured weekly and the plan is modified based on the progress achieved. Teensavers accepts most insurance plans and offers flexible financing to help ensure your child receives the help he or she needs.
